Design, construction, and painting of custom props for The Reston Community Players. Milky White the Cow and The Princes’ Horse Scooter and Coach were constructed of blue house insulation board covered with theater linen over a wheeled wooden frame. The Players were able to use this specialty prop as a revenue source by renting it out for decades.

Design, construction and scenic painting for The Reston Community Players. A scale model was built for the director to map scene blocking. The center arch was scrim so that a hanging scene could be back lit and the central oval with figurine was waterproofed to hold water for a dunking scene. The columns are on rolling bases and have removal capitals so that the Players can use them in subsequent seasons with other styles of capitals. They are still in use as of 2026’s season.
